Out of Fuel

Explanation

This game was made in 48 hours in the 2021 GMTK game jam with the theme joined together. The connection with the theme is that you can only attack when being near your base and the question of  What happens when you lose the connection with your gun in a shooter?

You like bullet hell games? Well this is one. The objective is to collect fuel (represented by the yellow bar at the top) to the max capacity, you collect fuel by collecting the yellow orbs. Enemies drop yellow orbs when defeated. You can only shoot when you are near your base (the blue box) and when you have enough fuel.

The game turned out to be VERY difficult because I wasn't able to playtest enough and was focused on introducing interesting enemies
